We filtered records occurring from 2022‑01‑01 to 2025‑09‑11 within Assembly District 46 and summarized counts by injury severity, mode, location, hour, and vehicle type. Data were accessed Sept 10–11, 2025. A man backing an SUV on Neptune Ave hit an 89-year-old woman and killed her in the early afternoon. According to police, she was not in the roadway. A parked sedan driver was also listed in the crash.
According to the police report, a male driver backing a 2013 SUV westbound on Neptune Ave near W 6th St in Brooklyn around 12:42 p.m. hit an 89-year-old woman and caused crush injuries that killed her. The report recorded her as a pedestrian not in the roadway and not at an intersection. A licensed driver in a parked 2007 sedan was also listed in the crash record.

A driver in a Ford SUV turned left at Cropsey and 24th and hit a 95-year-old woman in the head. She fell in the intersection and died there, in the cold daylight, another pedestrian erased in a routine turn.
According to the police report, around 12:40 p.m. a man driving a Ford SUV made a left turn at Cropsey Avenue and 24th Avenue in Brooklyn and hit a 95-year-old woman at the intersection. The SUV’s left front bumper struck her head, causing severe bleeding. She died at the scene on a below-freezing afternoon. Police did not record any specific contributing factor for the driver or the pedestrian.

A 23-year-old driver in a 2010 Honda slammed into a parked Jeep on the Belt Parkway ramp just before 1 a.m. He took the full hit and died there in the dark, alone on the frozen ramp.
According to the police report, a 23-year-old man driving a 2010 Honda sedan westbound on the Belt Parkway ramp hit a parked 2023 Jeep SUV just before 1 a.m. The Jeep was unoccupied. The driver, the only person in the Honda, suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene. The crash happened overnight in below-freezing conditions.

A garbage-truck driver turned off Shore Parkway and hit an eastbound SUV on 25th Avenue, crushing a 69-year-old driver’s back. His passenger and the truck driver were also hurt. Police recorded driver distraction.
According to the police report, a garbage-truck driver making a right turn from Shore Parkway onto 25th Avenue in Brooklyn drove into an eastbound Honda SUV. The 69-year-old SUV driver sustained crush injuries to his back, and a woman riding in the SUV and the 37-year-old truck driver were also listed as injured. Police recorded driver inattention and distraction by the garbage-truck driver as the contributing factor.

A 74-year-old SUV driver sat distracted on Bay 49 Street and an eastbound e-bike rider paid the price. The 68-year-old was thrown off his bike and left with severe facial wounds.
According to the police report, a 74-year-old SUV driver and a 68-year-old e-bike rider were both traveling east on Bay 49 Street at Cropsey Avenue in Brooklyn on a Monday morning when they crashed. The SUV was stopped in traffic when the rider hit its right rear side. The rider was ejected and suffered severe facial lacerations. Police recorded Driver Inattention/Distraction by the SUV driver.
