BMW driver kills Bronx pedestrian
A BMW driver went east on East 222nd Street and hit a 27-year-old man on Boston Road. The crash crushed his body. Paramedics found no life left. A midnight strike on a wide Bronx road.
A male driver in a 2025 BMW sedan traveled east on East 222nd Street near Boston Road just after midnight and hit a 27-year-old man walking outside an intersection. The impact tore through the pedestrian’s entire body, and he was killed at the scene. According to the police report, the pedestrian was listed as “Pedestrian/Bicyclist/Other Pedestrian Not at Intersection,” and the point of impact was the center front end of the sedan. Police recorded all contributing factors for the driver and pedestrian as “Unspecified,” leaving official records silent on the precise driver error that led to this deadly crash.
