   A 63-year-old driver turning a Chevy Tahoe in Harlem collided head-on with two teens on a motorized scooter, killing a 13-year-old boy.
   Police told the New York Post that two teens, ages 13 and 14, were riding a motorized scooter on West 112th Street shortly before 8:50 p.m. on June 18, 2026, when a 63-year-old man driving a Chevy Tahoe turned left from Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard onto West 112th Street and collided head-on with them. The 13-year-old suffered a head injury and was pronounced dead at a hospital. The 14-year-old was hospitalized in stable condition with a leg injury. Police said the driver stayed at the scene, was not injured, and had not been arrested as the investigation continued.

   A driver hit a 77-year-old man riding a mobility scooter on Harlem River Drive. He was killed.
   According to the police report, a driver traveling south on Harlem River Drive hit a man riding a Pride Go-Go mobility scooter who was also headed south. The scooter rider, a 77-year-old man, was ejected and killed with head injuries and crush injuries recorded. Police recorded “Pedestrian/Bicyclist/Other Pedestrian Error/Confusion” as a contributing factor. Other occupants were listed; the report does not describe their injuries.

   Police and prosecutors said Kevin Crosby, 49, drove a Hyundai Tucson east on West 125th Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard just after 8 p.m. on March 19, 2026, hit two e-bike delivery riders from behind and continued into other traffic. Official crash records list one 28-year-old male bicyclist killed, one cyclist injured and three motorists injured; the Hyundai driver is listed with illegal drugs and unsafe speed. Prosecutors said Crosby admitted smoking marijuana and PCP earlier that day, while his lawyer argued steering and brake problems contributed. Crosby was later indicted on aggravated vehicular homicide, manslaughter, drug-impaired driving and related counts.
