We used NYC Open Data’s Motor Vehicle Collisions datasets (Crashes h9gi-nx95, Persons f55k-p6yu, Vehicles bm4k-52h4). We filtered by date (2022-01-01 to 2025-09-19) and by geography (Brooklyn Community Board 5). We counted deaths, injuries, and serious injuries from the Persons table and matched them to crash locations in the Crashes table. Data were accessed Sep 19, 2025.
