We used NYC Open Data’s Motor Vehicle Collisions datasets (Crashes, Persons, Vehicles). We filtered records to the period 2022‑01‑01 to 2025‑09‑20 and to the Staten Island Community Board 1 geography using CrashCount’s spatial filter. We then counted crashes, injuries, and fatalities, and summarized modes, contributing factors, and hotspots. Data were last pulled on Sep 19, 2025.
