A driver floored a sedan up Morgan Avenue and slammed into a dump truck’s rear. The 22-year-old front passenger took the hit to the head and died. Another young passenger’s arm fractured in the wrecked car.

According to the police report, a northbound sedan driver on Morgan Avenue near Division Place in Brooklyn hit the rear of a dump truck that was traveling straight ahead. Police recorded unsafe speed and traffic control disregarded as factors. The 22-year-old front passenger suffered a fatal head injury. A 21-year-old rear passenger sustained a fracture to his lower arm. The sedan was heavily damaged in the crash, which happened overnight in below-freezing conditions.
