Unlicensed BMW Driver Speeds, Kills Infant and Man
On Henry Hudson Parkway overnight, an unlicensed BMW driver pushed it too fast and crashed. The car burned. A 39-year-old driver, a 30-year-old man, and an infant all died in that firetrap of speed and steel.
What We Know
Three people died overnight on Henry Hudson Parkway after a BMW sedan crashed and caught fire. According to the police report, an unlicensed 39-year-old driver was going straight when he drove at unsafe speed and crashed, demolishing the car. A 30-year-old male passenger and an infant passenger were trapped and died from severe burns. The driver was ejected and died from crush injuries. Police recorded unsafe speed and improper turning as contributing factors for the passengers’ injuries and deaths.
