A 19-year-old driver raced along South Conduit Avenue and slammed a Nissan at speed. His 19-year-old front-seat passenger took the worst of it and died from neck injuries on the road that night.

According to the police report, a 19-year-old man driving a 2001 Nissan sedan east on South Conduit Avenue crashed at night on the arterial road. Police recorded unsafe speed. The front end was heavily damaged. A 19-year-old woman in the front passenger seat suffered fatal neck injuries. The driver reported pain and nausea. No other vehicles were listed in the crash.
