Overnight E‑Bike Run into Parked Box Truck Kills 20‑Year‑Old
A 20‑year‑old e‑bike rider hit a parked box truck on 86th Street overnight and was thrown, his head taking the impact. He died there. A 35‑year‑old riding on the outside of the bike was ejected and left with a fractured leg.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 20-year-old man riding a G-Power e-bike west on 86th Street hit a parked box truck during overnight hours in Brooklyn. He was ejected, suffered a head injury, and died at the scene. A 35-year-old man riding on the outside of the e-bike was also ejected and sustained a leg fracture. The box truck was unoccupied and parked at the time of the crash.
