A 36-year-old moped driver went down hard on FDR Drive at daybreak and died of head wounds. Police logged aggressive driving and no other vehicles at the scene. One man, one machine, and a deadly morning crash.

A 36-year-old man driving a 2018 LANCE moped south on FDR Drive died in a solo crash around 7:10 a.m. According to the police report, officers recorded Aggressive Driving/Road Rage as a contributing factor.
