Driver Passes Too Close, Dies on 31st Ave
A 27-year-old driver passed too close to a parked car on 31st Avenue and scraped it. He died in the driver’s seat, in the middle of a quiet Queens afternoon.

According to the police report, a 27-year-old man driving a Chrysler sedan on 31st Avenue near 31st Street passed too close to a parked Honda sedan and hit it. Police recorded Passing Too Closely as the contributing factor. The Chrysler driver, the only person in his car, died at the scene in this afternoon crash.
