According to the police report, late on a Wednesday night on the Bruckner Expressway in the Bronx, a southbound BMW driver hit a northbound SUV head-on. The 30-year-old BMW driver was killed. A 37-year-old rear passenger suffered severe head lacerations, and a 26-year-old front passenger sustained a fractured arm. Police recorded unsafe speed and alcohol involvement in the BMW as contributing factors.
