Unlicensed SUV Driver Kills Vespa Rider
A 33-year-old Vespa rider went down on Classon Avenue and never got up. Police say an unlicensed SUV driver hit him from behind, on drugs, then kept going.

A fatal rear-end crash on Classon Avenue near Clifton Place in Brooklyn left a 33-year-old Vespa rider dead Wednesday afternoon. According to the police report, a driver in a station wagon/SUV hit the Vespa from behind, ejecting the rider and causing fatal head injuries. Police recorded illegal drugs as a contributing factor. The SUV driver was unlicensed and did not remain at the scene.
