Police described a late-night loss of control

Police told the Daily News that Isaiah Santana was riding a 2019 KTM 250 east on East 138th Street at about 1:15 a.m. when he lost control near Willis Avenue and veered right.

Police said Santana sideswiped a parked Nissan Altima, rear-ended a parked 2020 Toyota Highlander and was thrown from his bike. A 2009 Mercedes-Benz driven by a 47-year-old man was also involved after that; the driver was not hurt.

Isaiah Santana was a block from home

The Daily News identified the rider who died as Isaiah Santana, 30, and reported that the crash happened a block from his Bronx home.

Medics took Santana to Lincoln Hospital, where he could not be saved.
