A 37-year-old rider blew a red on 8th Avenue at West 116th and hit head-on. He was ejected and died from head trauma. The crash unfolded on a weekend afternoon in Harlem traffic that did stop. He did not.

He hit head-on, was ejected, and suffered fatal head trauma. Police recorded “Traffic Control Disregarded” as the contributing factor. The rider was not wearing a helmet. No other vehicles were involved.
