Rider Dies a Month After West 110th Street E-Scooter Crash

Patch reported that city data showed at least 36 people injured in crashes at the intersection since 2012, including 15 drivers, 11 pedestrians and 10 cyclists.
Herrera died about a month after the crash.
Reports said Herrera was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition and died about a month after the crash. Patch identified him as a Bronx resident.
Police said no criminality was suspected and the NYPD's Highway Collision Investigation Squad was investigating.
