At about 9:50 p.m. on August 6, 2022, police said a 48-year-old woman riding a scooter north on the Henry Hudson Parkway near West 104th Street struck the center divider and was thrown into a southbound lane. A man riding a 2020 Kawasaki motorcycle hit her. Both riders were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside, where the woman died. The man was in stable condition.

The crash happened on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan near West 104th Street. The scooter rider was headed north and the motorcycle rider south, on opposite sides of the center divider.
Both riders were taken to hospital
Both riders were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside. The 48-year-old woman died there, while the motorcycle rider was in stable condition. The Daily News reported that he was 25; the New York Post reported that he was 26.
