Driver Hits Senior on E‑Scooter, Leaves Him Dead
A driver going straight on West 125th hit a 73-year-old e-scooter rider turning at Morningside. The rider was thrown off and suffered fatal head injuries in the morning commute.

According to the police report, a northbound sedan driver on West 125th Street hit a southbound e-scooter rider who was making a left turn at Morningside Avenue on an August Friday morning. The 73-year-old man riding the scooter was ejected, suffered severe head trauma and bleeding, and died from his injuries. The sedan driver was not reported injured.
