Overnight Bronx Driver Slams Parked Cars, Dies
A 48-year-old driver heading south on Melrose Avenue hit a line of parked cars overnight in the Bronx. He died at the scene, alone in the Acura, with no other injuries reported.

According to the police report, around 1:18 a.m. on Melrose Avenue in the Bronx, a 48-year-old man driving a southbound Acura sedan hit several parked vehicles, including a Genesis, a Kia SUV, and a Toyota sedan. He was belted in the driver’s seat and died from his injuries. No other occupants were listed in any vehicle, and no other injuries were recorded in the crash data.
