Driver Fatally Hits Woman in Queens Hit-and-Run
A 31-year-old pedestrian died after a driver in a white sedan intentionally hit her near 97-23 120th Street in Queens at about 2:35 a.m. and fled north, police told Gothamist and the Daily News.

The Daily News reported that the altercation began around 2:30 a.m. near Showtime Bar and Lounge and moved down 120th Street. A neighbor told the paper she saw a man being beaten in the street and then saw a white car moving quickly down the block.
Gothamist reported that police were also responding to a call about a large group fighting near 120th Street and 95th Avenue. Police said four men had stab or slash wounds, and two men also had been hit by a driver believed to be the same person involved in the fatal hit-and-run.
Reports differed on the recorded vehicles
Police accounts in the articles described the driver as using a white sedan; the Daily News identified it as a white Nissan sedan. The city crash record, by contrast, lists two parked SUVs: a 2018 Toyota SUV with left-side damage and a 2008 Ford SUV with left rear bumper damage.
The woman died at Jamaica Hospital
Police told Gothamist that responders took the woman to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival just after 3 a.m. Both articles reported that no arrests had been made as of publication.
