The official vehicle record identifies a 2016 Mack box truck traveling north, starting in traffic, with one licensed male driver inside. The record lists the left front bumper as the point of impact and no vehicle damage.
The Post described a tractor-trailer used for construction and said it bore Blue Kenseal Construction Products lettering. The article reported that White Cap owned the truck. Those descriptions are not identical, so the public record and press account should be read together.

Food vendor Momhed Ahmed told the Post he heard the impact and saw the victim under the truck. He said the driver got out after the crash and reacted strongly to what had happened.
The Post reported that records for the marked truck showed 117 traffic violations since 2015, including seven school-zone speeding tickets and one red-light ticket. White Cap said it was extremely saddened by the fatality and was cooperating with law enforcement.
