A College Point driver was arrested after a fatal pedestrian crash.
Police said Arturo Jimenez struck Jose Tejada as he inspected his stopped vehicle on Linden Place; the official record dates the crash to 4:55 p.m. on October 19, 2022, and records one pedestrian killed and three motorists injured.

Police identified the pedestrian as Jose Tejada.
Tejada, 58, was a College Point resident. Officers found him in the roadway with severe bodily trauma, and EMS took him to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where he was pronounced dead.
The reports differ on the Dodge's body type.

Jimenez remained at the scene and was arrested.
