Two SUV drivers kill man crossing Gun Hill
Late at night on East Gun Hill Road, a 60-year-old man crossed against the light. Two SUV drivers hit him in succession. His head and body took the full force. He died in the intersection and never made it home.
What We Know
A 60-year-old man was killed while crossing East Gun Hill Road near White Plains Road in the Bronx at night. According to the police report, he was walking through the intersection against the signal when two westbound SUV drivers, traveling straight, hit him one after the other. Police recorded pedestrian error/confusion as the only contributing factor. Both drivers were licensed and remained at the scene.
