A 48-year-old man riding an e-bike south on Schenectady Avenue near Lincoln Place hit the back of a parked box truck late Friday morning. According to the police report, he was ejected and suffered a neck injury and severe lacerations and died at the scene. Police recorded driver inexperience as a contributing factor. The e-bike rider was unlicensed. The box truck was parked and unoccupied.
