Speeding driver kills night worker on Grand Avenue
A driver pushed a sedan too fast down Grand Avenue and hit a 49-year-old man working in the roadway. The crash tore his leg and killed him on the street while a parked diesel truck sat nearby.

According to the police report, a 43-year-old woman driving a sedan at unsafe speed along Grand Avenue hit a 49-year-old man who was working in the roadway away from an intersection. The impact caused an amputation injury to his lower leg and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver suffered a leg fracture. A diesel tractor truck was parked nearby and was not moving at the time of the crash. Police recorded unsafe speed by the driver.
