The official record lists the crash at 2:56 p.m. and failure to yield right-of-way as a contributing factor; an earlier QNS report gave the time as about 2:54 p.m. and said it was unclear whether the driver had the light. Frasheri was treated at a Queens hospital.
QNS identified Frasheri, 70, as a Whitestone resident and gave his address as Powells Cove Boulevard. It reported that EMS took him to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where police said he was pronounced dead on Nov. 17.
Police charged Wu after the crash.
An earlier QNS report said the 34-year-old driver remained at the scene and was not injured. QNS later identified him as Naihao Wu of Westwood, Massachusetts, and reported that police booked him at the 109th Precinct on Nov. 29 and charged him with failure to yield and failure to exercise due care.
