Moped Rider Slams Turning Pickup, Killed
A 45-year-old moped rider hit a pickup turning off Grand Street at Graham Avenue before dawn. He flew from the bike, suffered fatal head injuries, and died at the scene. The pickup driver was not reported injured.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 45-year-old man riding a moped west on Grand Street hit the right side of a pickup truck whose driver was turning right onto Graham Avenue. The rider was ejected and sustained fatal head injuries. He held a learner’s permit. The pickup driver, a 28-year-old man in a large pickup, was not reported injured.
