Bay Street driver dies after losing consciousness
A 57-year-old driver lost consciousness on Bay Street, her Hyundai rolling forward into a parked Alfa. She died there in the afternoon traffic, the only person killed in the crash.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 57-year-old woman driving a Hyundai lost consciousness near 680 Bay Street on a Staten Island arterial road one afternoon. Her car rolled forward from a parked position and hit an unoccupied, parked Alfa sedan. The Hyundai’s front and the Alfa’s rear were damaged. The driver died at the scene. No other people were reported injured.
