Speeding drivers kill man walking Henry Hudson
Overnight on Henry Hudson Parkway, a man walking with traffic did not make it home. Three northbound drivers came through; one hit him. Police recorded unsafe speed. The man died at the scene. Two drivers were also hurt.

A man walking along Henry Hudson Parkway near West 96th Street was hit and killed by a northbound driver just after 12:40 a.m. According to the police report, three northbound vehicles were involved and police recorded unsafe speed as a contributing factor. Two drivers reported injuries, including head and arm trauma. One of the drivers was unlicensed. The crash happened on an arterial roadway after dark in rainy conditions.
