A 62-year-old e-bike rider went north on College Point Boulevard and hit something in the dark near 30th Avenue. He suffered a fatal head injury and never got back up from the asphalt.

According to the police report, a 62-year-old man riding an e-bike north on College Point Boulevard near 30th Avenue hit an object in the roadway at night and suffered a severe head injury. Police recorded Pedestrian/Bicyclist/Other Pedestrian Error/Confusion as a contributing factor. The rider was found unconscious and was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
