Van Driver’s Left Turn Kills Motorcyclist
A van driver turned left off Farmers Boulevard. A 38-year-old rider, going straight on his motorcycle, hit the van and was thrown. He took the impact to his head and died in the street.
What We Know
According to the police report, a van driver turned left from Farmers Boulevard at 135th Avenue in Queens on a Tuesday afternoon. A 38-year-old motorcyclist traveling straight hit the rear side of the van. The rider was ejected, suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene. Both drivers were licensed. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
