A 46-year-old man driving a Yamaha motorcycle hit a 72-year-old woman in the crosswalk at Pelham Parkway and Williamsbridge Road around 4:30 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon. According to the police report, the woman crossed against the signal. She suffered fatal head crush injuries and died at the scene. The driver was ejected and reported abrasions and whole-body pain.
