Pickup driver blows turn, kills man
A pickup driver turned left off Hylan, failed to yield, and hit a 62-year-old man in the crosswalk on Seguine Avenue. The man died in the street while the driver fled.

According to the police report, a 62-year-old man was crossing Seguine Avenue at Hylan Boulevard when the driver of a 2006 Dodge pickup truck made a left turn and hit him in the crosswalk. Police recorded failure to yield the right-of-way and improper turning. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries to his entire body. The driver left the scene on a rainy Saturday morning on this arterial road.
