A 32-year-old unlicensed moped rider hit a turning sedan on 8th Avenue near Harlem River Drive late at night. He was thrown off and suffered fatal head injuries in the street.

The rider was ejected and sustained fatal head injuries at the scene. Police recorded “Traffic Control Disregarded” as a contributing factor. The sedan driver was licensed and not reported injured.
