A 33-year-old motorcyclist died after he hit a pickup truck while both drivers were changing lanes on the West Shore Expressway in Staten Island around 5 p.m. on a Saturday. According to the police report, the rider was ejected and suffered amputating injuries to his entire body. Police recorded “Passing or Lane Usage Improper” and “Unsafe Lane Changing” for the motorcyclist.
