Driver Reverses Lexus, Kills 71‑Year‑Old
A driver backed a Lexus on East 10th Street and hit a 71-year-old man crossing Avenue O. He lay semiconscious under the rear of the car and died there, in the dark, on a Brooklyn corner.

A 71-year-old man was killed when a driver reversed a Lexus sedan at East 10th Street and Avenue O in Brooklyn and hit him in the intersection. According to the police report, the man was crossing against the signal when the backing vehicle struck him. He was found semiconscious beneath the rear of the car and died at the scene on a Monday night after dark.
