Police said the 21-year-old Infiniti driver stayed at the scene after continuing a short distance. He was not hurt, and neither were two passengers in the sedan.

Records describe a sedan, a scooter and a parked Hyundai

City data lists a 2020 Infiniti sedan traveling south and a KSR Moto TTX motor scooter traveling east, both going straight before the crash. A parked 2014 Hyundai sedan was also recorded as involved.

The scooter was demolished in the official record. The Daily News, citing police, reported that the rider’s scooter came into contact with a parked Hyundai Sonata before the rider hit a building.

Right of way remained under review

City crash data recorded traffic-control disregard for both operators and unsafe speed for the Infiniti sedan. Brooklyn Paper reported that, at the time, police had not said who had the right of way or how fast either operator was traveling.

Both articles reported that no charges had been filed in the immediate aftermath, while police continued investigating.
