Speeding driver slams truck, kills two
A 22-year-old driver tore down the Staten Island Expressway and hit a Ford pickup broadside. She and her 22-year-old passenger died there on the road. Police recorded unsafe speed and alcohol in the sedan.

Two 22-year-old women in a Chevy sedan were killed late Sunday when the sedan’s driver hit the side of a Ford pickup on the eastbound Staten Island Expressway. According to the police report, officers recorded unsafe speed and alcohol involvement. The sedan was demolished. Three people in the pickup were listed as occupants; no injuries were recorded for them.
