A driver in a westbound Nissan hit a 26-year-old woman crossing Atlantic near Van Siclen. She took the impact to the head, suffered deep cuts, and died in the street while traffic rolled past.
What We Know
A 26-year-old woman was killed while crossing Atlantic Avenue at Van Siclen Avenue in Brooklyn. According to the police report, she crossed against the signal and a westbound Nissan sedan driven by a woman hit her with the left front. The impact caused head trauma and severe lacerations. She died at the scene on this busy arterial in early evening. No other injuries were reported.
