Speeding Audi Driver Dies on Steuben
A 30-year-old Audi driver tore up Steuben Street before he hit an object and crushed his chest. Police recorded unsafe speed and an improper turn. He died alone in the car before sunrise.

A 30-year-old man driving a 2016 Audi sedan north on Steuben Street in Staten Island died in a single-vehicle crash early Sept. 11, 2023. According to the police report, the driver went straight, turned improperly and hit an object. Police recorded unsafe speed. He suffered fatal crush injuries to his chest and was found unconscious and belted in, the sole occupant.
