A dump truck driver turned right off Atlantic Avenue onto Woodhaven Boulevard and hit a 63-year-old woman working in the intersection. She died under the truck while the oversized rig showed no damage. Police recorded the driver’s view as blocked.

According to the police report, on a rainy Friday morning at Atlantic Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard in Queens, a dump truck driver making a right turn hit a 63-year-old woman who was working in the intersection. She suffered crush injuries to her entire body and was killed. Police recorded “View Obstructed/Limited” and the truck’s oversized size as contributing factors. The New Jersey–registered truck showed no reported damage.
