Speeding Driver Slams Woman on Utica Corner
Two sedan drivers crashed at Utica and East New York. Police recorded unsafe speed and a blown turn. A 32-year-old woman standing off the roadway took the hit to her head and died. Another pedestrian’s leg was fractured.

According to the police report, two sedan drivers collided at Utica Avenue and East New York Avenue in Brooklyn, one going straight and one turning left. Police recorded unsafe speed and turning improperly as contributing factors. A 32-year-old woman standing at the intersection, not in the roadway, suffered a fatal head injury. A 55-year-old man on the corner sustained a lower-leg fracture. Both drivers were also listed with non-fatal injuries.
