Speeding driver slams moped rider on Fox
A young driver blew down Fox Street and hit a 23-year-old moped rider from behind. Police say unsafe speed and blowing a traffic control ended with the rider dead on the pavement.

According to the police report, a car driver heading south on Fox Street near Intervale Avenue hit a southbound moped from behind on a weekend afternoon. The 23-year-old moped rider was ejected, suffered severe bleeding, lost consciousness and later died. Police recorded unsafe speed and traffic control disregarded as contributing factors by the rider, who was driving the moped without a helmet.
