According to the police report, a male driver in a BMW sedan drove north on Utopia Parkway and hit the right side of a Lexus SUV that was traveling east on Peck Avenue. The 72-year-old woman driving the Lexus died from her injuries. Police recorded unsafe speed as a contributing factor. The crash happened on a Sunday afternoon in Queens.
