According to the police report, a 47-year-old man was crossing Woodhaven Boulevard away from an intersection on a January morning in Queens when a southbound driver in a 2002 Toyota sedan, traveling straight, hit him head-on. A northbound driver in a 2002 Jeep sedan, also traveling straight, then hit him. The man suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene on this arterial road.
