Speeding driver kills woman on Main Street
A northbound Toyota driver hit a 68-year-old woman crossing Main Street near Reeves Avenue on a dark February night. Police say his unsafe speed turned that crosswalk into a fatal impact.

According to the police report, a man driving a 2009 Toyota sedan north on Main Street hit a 68-year-old woman who was crossing near Reeves Avenue on Feb. 15 around 8:14 p.m. The report states the sedan’s left front struck her and that she died at the scene. Police recorded unsafe speed by the driver as a contributing factor.
