A 67-year-old Infiniti driver going south on the Van Wyck hit the back of a diesel truck and died in the demolished SUV. Morning expressway traffic kept moving around one man who never got out.

The Infiniti was described as demolished, and the driver was killed. The truck driver was also traveling south. The crash involved an oversized truck during daytime conditions.
