Unlicensed speeding driver kills woman in crosswalk
A speeding driver tore down Grand Concourse and hit a 75-year-old woman who was crossing East 164th Street with the signal. The unlicensed driver ignored the light. She died in the intersection.

According to the police report, a male driver in a sedan was heading south on Grand Concourse around 5 a.m. when he hit a 75-year-old woman in the crosswalk at East 164th Street. The woman was crossing with the signal and suffered crush injuries to her entire body and died at the scene. Police recorded unsafe speed and traffic control disregarded by the unlicensed driver.
