According to the police report, a diesel tractor-truck driver changed lanes westbound on the Long Island Expressway on Saturday morning, and a westbound Yamaha motorcycle hit the truck’s right rear. The 26-year-old motorcycle rider, who was ejected and suffered fatal injuries to his entire body, was recorded with “Traffic Control Disregarded” as a contributing factor. The crash involved an oversized truck on an arterial highway.
