Unlicensed Rider Killed Under Cross Bronx Trucks
A 35-year-old unlicensed motorcycle rider hit two westbound diesel trucks on the Cross Bronx Expressway. He was ejected, crushed, and died at the scene while the truck drivers rolled on, their rigs untouched.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 35-year-old unlicensed man riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on the Cross Bronx Expressway hit two westbound diesel tractor trucks. Police recorded “Passing or Lane Usage Improper.” The rider was ejected, suffered crush injuries to his entire body and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both truck drivers, operating large rigs, kept going straight ahead and reported no damage.
